Bilinga is a heavy, very strong wood. It is relatively difficult to work, but hardly blunts tools at all. Pre-drilled holes are required for nails and screws.
APPLICATION
AREAS.
Bilinga has impressive strength properties and high levels of fungal resistance. It is therefore especially suitable as a solid wood for highly stressed components in outdoor construction where subsequent fine cracks are not an impairment.
